We are an exclusive, casual and peaceful retreat.

Come and enjoy our luxurious retreat set in our beautiful English styled gardens, where you will find a discreet sanctuary of calm, where guests can take a relaxing dip in the enticing, single depth pool, pull up a sun lounger on the beautiful green lawns or relax in the Jacuzzi, Sauna or Steam Room.

Enjoy breakfast, lunch or afternoon tea on the lawn or by the pool.
Use of our facilities are complementary for guests staying in our cottages, and are available to our Day Spa visitors.

Spa – In addition to one-off treatments, we offer a selection of Full and Half Day Spa Break Packages. Our fully trained therapists are available to offer advice and answer any questions you may have on any of our treatments.

Local Area – Wellington’s agricultural economy is centred on its award-winning wines, table grapes, deciduous fruit and fine brandy, and it is also home to South Africa’s sole whisky producer.

Bain’s Kloof Pass – The historic Bain’s Kloof Pass, with unsurpassed vistas, indigenous flora and fauna and crystal-clear streams and rivers, is the perfect spot for hikers and fly-fishermen. The pass, built by the famous Scot, Andrew Geddes Bain, was the sole gateway to the north, before Du Toitskloof Pass was built.

Wellington Wine, Craft Beer, Gin & Whisky – The region is the recipient of an impressive array of national and international accolades for their wines. The Old Mutual Insure Wellington Wine Route boasts an array of fine producers. World-renowned wines are cultivated in the Cape Winelands, at the heart of which lies Wellington that boasts some of the best wine-producers in South Africa. Apart from award-winning wines, the region also boasts craft beer, brandy, whisky and gin producers.

Proclaimed “Top Wine Area” at the exclusive 2010 and 2016 South African Terroir Awards, Wellington wines and spirits continue to collect awards in prestigious competitions, both nationally and internationally.

Activities – Hiking trails, bird and wildlife viewing, mountain biking, 4×4 routes and abseiling are just some of the outdoor activities to be enjoyed in the mountainous terrain and scenic surrounds.
